I had two large old oaks (40-50 years old) that, likely, the original owner of my house planted less than 10 feet from the foundation. As much as I hated to do so, I submitted requests for estimates to remove them to several tree services. Not only did Lee respond the very same day, he was out to survey the location the next day and emailed a competitive proposal later that same evening. As impressed as I was with his work ethic, what really sealed the deal was that Lee could have his crew out the very next week. With the tornados that ripped through the area mid March 2024, quite rightly and understandably, Lee had his crew up helping folks clean up & recover so I assumed that my job would get pushed back a while. Lee impressed me again by delaying my job only a couple of days instead of what I'd feared would be much longer. With these trees being so massive and so close to the house, I worried about how they could possibly get them taken down safely. Lee's crew handled the job not only safely but efficiently, as well. They came back the following day, a Saturday no less, to finish taking down the last bits and then cleaning up the site. Much to my surprise, their clean-up left my yard and my roof cleaner than it had been when they originally arrived! They even cut up and stacked a bunch of logs for me. Overall, I was highly impressed with Lee and his crew. I would have no hesitation hiring (Lee Slatter's) Slatt's Trees again should the need occur and will recommend them to one and all. Thanks again, Lee!
