Had a deteriorating huge White Oak tree in our front yard. The tree had shed several large limbs in the last couple years, so the decision was made to have it taken down. Went with Tackett Tree Experts since they had removed several trees for a neighbor who was very happy with their work. Must say that I can’t remember member a better customer service experience with a contractor! Crew was diligent, courteous, professional in their work ethic. Respectful of our property and kept any yard damage to a minimum. This was especially amazing since the tree was approximately 90 feet tall and almost 5 feet in diameter at the base. Took two full days to complete the project but the work was delayed due to a significant honeybee infestation. Would recommend this company in the future without hesitation.

Had a huge maple tree located very close to our house removed along with the stump. I have used Tackett Tree experts previously for some other work. I have called other tree services in the past and they only disappointed for various reasons. I feel Tackett’s rates are fair overall, but it’s the extra details you can’t put a price on. If you call for an estimate they set one up quickly and show up on time. If you approve the work, they call you ahead of time to schedule, give you an arrival window and they show up as planned. Communication is good. I had hired a different company for some work a few years back, they showed up for estimate which I approved. Never heard back for 4 months even after calling the company several times and having to leave a voicemail. This company then shows up 4 months later, unannounced, to do the work, luckily I just happened to be home. Other company’s you call take your info and never show up or call to set up estimates. Maybe it’s just me, but the little things matter and that’s why I’ve been a repeat customer to Tackett Tree Experts!

The tree that had to be removed today was not easy, the access to the tree was through the neighbors yard and they were concerned. All went great, everyone was happy, the clean up was awesome and once again Tackett proved why they are number 1.
