Customer Reviews for Urban Arborist LLC

Kirsten H ★★★★★

What a fantastic and professional job. Absolutely wonderful results for our two large Siberian elms. Mike is very knowledgeable and provided valuable advice on what to do with our trees and what might be better options in the future. He's also quick and friendly with his team, who were diligent at cleaning up and respectful of our properties (our and our neighbor's homes had branches falling in them from our tree). Definitely recommend if you seek tree removal or trimming. You will not be disappointed.

Mike and Caleb pruned our 11 trees last fall. And this spring they fertilized them. 10 of the trees are better looking having been professionally trimmed and full of green leaves having been properly fertilized. Unfortunately one of the ornamental pears is too dead to save (couldn’t tell last fall - Mike said to wait until Spring). So today Mike took it down. It landed exactly where he said it would - on the plywood that had been placed to protect the lawn). Mike and Caleb chipped the tree, Mike arranged for a stump grinder, found a replacement tree, and will plant it next week. Like other reviewers have said, the crew arrives on time, the price for services is reasonable, and the work they do is top notch. Urban Arborist will be taking care of our trees from now on. Grateful. Cynthia and William

I had an old silver maple that was half dead, a real widow-maker. My wife called Diamond Tree Experts and Jaun and his crew came out and had the tree down and loaded in less than three hours!

What a great experience! Nick was quick to respond and came and gave me a free quote with no pressure on his end. I knew right away this business was honest and perfect for the job we needed done. They trimmed our tree perfectly but I was so impressed with how quickly they finished the job. On top of that the clean up was exceptional. I highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed.

I lucked out in finding these guys to trim and remove my trees. I was going to hire a crew to manually remove my trees (climbing up with chain saws) but had to call the city to turn off the power because the trees were growing in between the power line. The guy from the city came to look, and said, "You know, tree trimmers ought to be able to remove your trees without having to turn the power off." I asked him for a recommend, and he emailed me a list of about 50 companies. I picked 4 at random and called and left messages requesting a bid. Hidden Oak was the first to call me back. They are first rate, with the latest equipment, a digitized estimate system with pictures, and everyone seems very competent. I was afraid that with their fancy equipment and boom lift, they would be expensive but they were cheap. When they took the trees down, I found out why-- park the lift in the street, send the rigger up over my house in a bucket, rigger cuts the trees, which the boom carries back over my house, drops the tree in the street, waiting guys with chain saws carve up the tree, bulldozer sweeps it up and deposits in the waiting bin. Boom. Done. And probably took about 1/3 the time other companies would take. And after they were done with cleanup (very little to clean) the street was immaculate.

Arbor + has been caring for our many mature trees for over a decade, and we would highly recommend them. They do consistently good work with professionalism. They communicate well, are on time, and completely clean up after themselves. We especially appreciate that they have arborists on staff who know how to care for trees and keep them healthy, from tree trimming to disease treatment and prevention to nutrients. Their prices are competitive too.
