So much gratitude for Kris and his team at Cox's Tree Service. They removed an enormous dead Honey Locust tree from our yard (RIP Helga) in one day, after 3 other local tree companies quoted us a much higher price or just straight up said they couldn't do it. The tree was a) YUGE, and b) in a very hard-to-reach part of our backyard, which complicated the work indefinitely.

The folks at Bartlett have been outstanding to work with from beginning to end. We had them do three things. #1 was trim 5 very large oak trees in our front yard. #2 was to remove two large but weak trees on the edge of our yard. #3 was to provide fertilization/plant nourishment treatment to our extensive plant material all around our yard. Everything they have done has been excellent. Every single person that worked here was professional in their appearance and behavior, and all were very approachable, too.
I was referred by a key source to Big O for a major limb removal over my house, a cedar take-down and some additional pruning. Prior to this the owner was very prompt, thorough, patient and flexible in working up phases of estimates based on my changing needs. He is always readily reached for discussion. The rates are competitive, the work superior, and the crew very professional and courteous. I will refer Big O to my neighborhood association and be using them again.
Tree maintenance that is both affordable and dependable! The work that Charlottesville Tree Works performed to trim down the overgrown branches on my property was superb. The staff was welcoming and the prices were fair. Will most certainly use them once more in the future to maintain my trees.
