During my 10 years of home ownership in SE CT, I had two previous arborist companies remove trees, and was immensely dissatisfied with both, so sought a new company, and struck gold with EL Tree Service. John was exacting in providing me with a price quote for removing 2 trees and trimming 3 others, which happened to be less than one other quote I got before his. While there was some confusion and postponement regarding target date, it was far less than what I experienced with my two previous arborists. Even better, John apologized several times for the confusion. The previous two miscreants never apologized even once. On the workday, John exceeded the work we had contracted by removing several dead limbs at no extra charge, and the cleanup left my yard far cleaner than before.

The last storm we had, A huge tree fell And struck my house. It was so big, it blocked off most of my yard and caused a lot of damage to my home. It ripped down the gutters completely, smashed my balcony, smashed the well cap to pieces. To finish it off it landed right on my propane tank and severed the line leaking gas everywhere. I couldn’t get to the tank without removing the tip off the tree getting it off the house. I called canopy tree co and they showed up shortly right after the fire department did to remove the tip of the tree so I could service my gas leak. I was shocked how fast they got out here for me. Their team of guys are super professional and handled that huge tree blocking off my yard like it was a little baby tree lol the pictures speak for themselves. I didn’t even have to go outside and pick up a stick. Thanks guys 👍🏼

Hired by my landlord to cut the grass, only does the upper yard and not the bottom yard even though landlord said he is paid to do both. Clearly is not capable of telling the difference between a flower and a weed as they weed whack my flowers every time they come and leave the weeds even after landlord notified and informed them not to cut the flowers. Today after the grass was cut they used a leaf blower to clean the sidewalk; instead blew the recyclables all over the public sidewalk without bothering to clean up the mess. I do not recommend. Inferior quality work.
