CuttingEdge Landscape & Tree Inc. Reviews

CuttingEdge Tree & Landscape Inc. is the only phone call I'll make for all my landscape and fencing needs! Alex was prompt, kind, professional, very hardworking, and his entire crew was too. We had an 85ft chain fence that was overgrown with ivy and weeds that needed to be ripped out, hauled away, and a new 7ft privacy fence with a kick board installed, and CuttingEdge's results were phenomenal! The entire process from start to finish was seemless, and they left nothing behind, our backyard is spotless with a new beautiful fence. They even went above and beyond to communicate logistics with our neighbors to ensure a smooth process that everyone was okay with. Alex and his crew hold the standard for customer service, we are extremely happy and will absolutely be calling CuttingEdge for all of our future needs!

Alex was contracted to install a piece of turf and a new fence on my property which you can see from the pictures that he did. However, by mistake they also removed all the grass and everything from my backyard which he was NOT contracted to do. Alex told me this was due to a miscommunication between him and his team, but that in the end they really did me a favor because now I can install new sod. I obviously told him that was ridiculous and that I didn’t have the money to redo my entire backyard at this time. He offered a discount which I appreciated and they finished the job on the turf and fence. Well now that it has rained and I can see that my backyard is a complete mud hole and there is about a 20-25foot wide puddle of water about 8-10 inches of water sitting against my foundation I immediately contacted Alex and told him this was going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix and that the discount he gave me was not nearly enough, to which he also agreed, he told me he would lay down sod and repair the damage that he had caused. But unfortunately an hour later he told me he would not fix it and that I shouldn’t post a bad review because of karma. Nevermind the karma I guess he doesn’t deserve for ruining my backyard. Be careful if you choose to go with Cutting edge. You may be responsible for paying for their mistakes. Extremely unprofessional.

Got three quotes from around Sacramento and CuttingEdge beat them all. Absolutely phenomenal service from Alex and his crew. Got this job done for us in just 3 days, got rid of a giant mound of dirt, levelled and graded the yard, installed a new sprinkler system, and installed sod. Absolutely coming back to him anytime we need some yard work.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
