Sleeping Giant Arbor Care LLC Reviews

My husband and I called Grant, the owner of Sleeping Giant Arbor Care, for some tree trimming/pruning on our large maple trees and horse chestnut tree, as well as some advice on what we should do with a very large, very old maple tree close to our house that was cracking and causing quite a few problems (e.g., falling branches, cement pathway upheaval, etc.). We decided to go with Grant because he is a certified arborist, and the amazing results speak for themselves! Grant met with us to look over our trees and provided us with an extraordinarily reasonable estimate compared to other tree cutting services. He is very knowledgeable in his craft, and we were confident that he would do an excellent job. Our problematic maple tree was very sentimental to me as my grandparents had planted it and it provided a great deal of shade, and Grant was very open and understanding of my desire to keep it if possible. He laid out the pros and cons of keeping it, and what we could do if we decided to try to maintain it a little longer. Ultimately, my husband and I decided that the safest, most cost-effective choice was to remove it, and Grant and his crew did an amazing job with the removal and clean up. After using a stump grinder to remove the remaining stump, you can't tell that there was even a tree there to begin with. Grant let us keep whatever pieces we wanted of the tree so we could incorporate it into some craft pieces/furniture. He did a fantastic job trimming/pruning our other trees. The time and care he took in his work truly shows, and my father, who has used several other tree trimming services over the course of many years, was completely blown away by how beautiful the results were and how reasonable the cost was! We are even going to have Grant help us transplant a small maple tree growing in our back yard in the Spring to our front yard to replace our old maple tree. We highly recommend Grant and Sleeping Giant Arbor Care for all tree care needs!

Grant gave me a very fair bid and stood bye it when he finished the job. He was very professional and easy to work with. He cleaned up the mess and left the place looking like new. Will definitely do business again with Sleeping Giant Arbor Care

As the owner of a landscape company, I recommend Grant to any of my customers who need advice on tree care or removal because I know his professionalism will also be attached to my name. As a homeowner, I have used Sleeping Giant Arbor Care twice and I will continue to do so because of Grant's expertise, promptness and fair pricing. I've been in the industry over 20 years and Sleeping Giant Arbor Care is as good as it gets. Don't hesitate to call.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
