Foley's Tree Service, LLC Reviews

This is the best professional tree service. Foley cut 22 spruce trees around my cabin. They make sure the cutting and chipping was done safely. The trees were 65-70 years old and about 60 feet high. The removal process was the best with no damage to other trees or structures. They were careful with site cleanup and debris removal. Highly recommend Foley.

Foley’s Tree Service totally rocks! They removed eight large trees for us yesterday that were old/diseased and too close to our cabin for comfort. One of the huge Hemlocks seemed inaccessible to us but these guys made short work of it. Our four man team was friendly, skilled, experienced, knowledgeable and finished our project in four hours. Foley equipment really is state-of-the-art…wow! We had special instructions for a future Potlicker Sculpture project tree and they followed the instructions to the letter. Cleanup was so good we’d not have known what happened if we hadn’t watched it. They graciously added two trees to our project on the spot and their work ethic was impressive. And the price…so reasonable! Highly recommended.

Had an amazing experience with Foley's clearing some land for me on a creek. They even took it like a champ when the a-hole neighbor showed up yelling at them. Ted came out many times to help us out and plan it correctly for what we want to do and make sure setbacks were all correct before proceeding. I will absolutely use them again when it comes time...as long as they're willing to still deal with the crazy lady across the creek ?

Recommendations before hiring Service
Before hiring a tree removal company in Price, we recommend reviewing a few important tips. While our directory includes businesses from across the United States, we cannot personally verify each one. For your safety and peace of mind, please consider the following suggestions before allowing anyone to work on your property:
Check the Company's Experience and References
Do your homework before hiring. Look up the company’s reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, or Facebook. Ask for before-and-after photos of recent tree removal projects. A reliable company should have a strong history of safe and successful removals. Don’t hesitate to ask how long they’ve been in business or whether they’ve handled trees similar in size and location to yours.
Confirm What Services Are Included
Tree removal can involve much more than just cutting down a tree. Ask if their service includes debris removal, stump grinding, or root clearing. Some companies may leave the stump or charge extra for cleanup. A good provider will clearly explain what is included and what isn’t—so there are no surprises.
Ask About Safety Procedures and Equipment
Tree removal is dangerous work, especially near structures or power lines. Make sure the company uses professional-grade equipment, follows safety protocols, and employs trained crews. If the job requires special access or climbing, ask how they ensure the safety of your property and their workers.
Verify They’re Properly Licensed and Insured
Only hire companies that carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation. This protects you in case of property damage or accidents during the job. Some states or counties also require tree service licensing—check that the company meets all legal requirements in your area.
Request a Written Quote
Before starting the job, get a detailed written estimate. It should clearly outline the scope of work, timeline, total cost, equipment used, and any additional services or potential fees. Having everything in writing helps prevent misunderstandings and gives you a point of reference if issues arise.
