I recently obtained 2 estimates for the trimming of 2 mesquite trees that had never had a professional trimming and had issues that needed addressing. I chose to contract with the company who had provided the lower estimate which exceeded $1,000. I was heartsick upon the completion of the job due to the fact that all the lower limbs were removed from both trees resulting in very little valuable shade and trees that looked like they belonged on the Serengeti where giraffes ate everything within their reach. It was heartbreaking to pay the amount I paid and be so unhappy. I decided to solicit an opinion from “Made in the Shade” who had provided my second estimate. I offered to pay him to come assess the situation and Danny said he would be happy to stop by free of charge.
