Gulf Coast Tree Specialists Reviews

I needed two large shade trees pruned prior to hurricane season. Randy, who is a certified arborist, provided a free site visit and detailed estimate. His crew was efficient, knowledgeable, and polite. They were careful not to damage the landscaping, and left the yard looking better than they found it. They even removed the yard debris we had placed at the road. The trees look great and I no longer worry that they will blow over in the next big storm. I highly recommend this company!

We recently had Randy come back a 4th time over the last 6 years. First in 2017, when a neighbors tree fell and blocked our garage entrance and he sent a crew out same morning. Then, later to cut and trim trees along the fence line. Then, after high winds, a tree fell on our house and Randy was out the next morning on a Sunday and he assembled a crew to remove the tree, we were so grateful to have the weight of the tree removed and not have to wait a week or more for someone to come out. Obviously, we had already built a trust in Gulf Coast Tree Specialist Inc and Randy, Beth and Chris, so when we decided to cut more trees, they were the only ones we would use. You might have to get on their schedule, because they are in high demand, considering how compassionate Randy is when an emergency happens and he work you in and he will come right out. We can't say enough for the whole crew who works so hard, they are all so organized, from the moment they get here, on time every time! everyone knows exactly what and where to be, operating with precision. No mistakes! And believe me, we could tell some horror stories from past people who show up with 2 men, a rope, 6ft latter and chainsaw, to cut a 60ft oak limbs and then tree falls on our structure. If you want fair prices with a kind, compassionate and caring attitude, dependable, all equipment needed to handle any situation, along with the experience of a Certified Arboriculturist, who can and will advise on how to not only cut, but to not kill your trees and also to advise on the invasive non-native trees which can do damage to septic systems, then we would highly recommend them.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
