Mike's Tree Service Reviews

Neighbor referral, I contacted Mr. Mike and received call back same day. He came out the next morning for an estimate, and the crew arrived within a few hours. Service provided, tree limb fell on my fence and trim tree. Family business, the crew was very professional and friendly, and they were very knowledgeable. Clean-up was quicker than expected. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks for your help!

We had a great experience with Mike’s Tree Service. Their team removed about fifty trees in our backyard along with a dozen or more bushes and shrubs in the front. The job was completed in the time frame we expected and customer service was excellent. Mike was responsive throughout the whole process. I would absolutely hire them again.

Mikes crew trimmed trees on my neighbors side of my property per my neighbors request. I gave permission to trim my trees hanging over my neighbors property. And in the process Mike damaged my side as evidenced in the photos. His crew and Mike was there were told by me that they damaged vegetation on my property and they failed to clean up. We called Mike a few days later and he came and went over the complaint items. He said he would be back to make it right and never came back. To me that is dishonest. I’ve had tree removal companies work on my trees in the past and they always cleaned up and were respectful of my property. Mike doesn’t charge a lot I’m told so maybe that’s why he doesn’t take his time to clean up. By the way he charges extra to clean up. Ridicules as the company I use doesn’t do that. I am vey disappointed with Mike’s tree service and would not recommend him to anyone. It’s better to pay a little more to have the job done right. In the pictures they ruined our grape vines and smashed our cactus in two different places. Ground a few stumps and did not level out the ground which still had ruts. Update on this post. Well Mike responded to my post and said I posted lies. Pictures don’t lie and neither do I. If there are any lies it’s that Mike said he would return and make things right. I’m a business owner too and I would never post anything untrue. I’m sorry Mike had an attitude about my comment. I know there are others that are satisfied with his service. We all have the same right to make a post on his website about Mikes service. In my situation I did not hire Mike my neighbor did. I allowed Mike access to my property to perform the work for my neighbor. Obviously Mike is upset with my post and all he had to do was keep his word to come back and correct the issues. I’m still waiting so who is telling the truth. Mike at least owes me an apology for stating on his reply that I told a bunch of lies. I welcome anyone that would come to my place and see for yourself. I’m a disabled Veteran and an Elder at my place of worship. As God is my judge I have not lied in my post. I actually feel sorry for you Mike and I forgive you for calling me a liar.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
