Shearer Tree Service LLC Reviews

Shearer Tree Service is excellent to work with! The bid process is fair, the follow-up for tree removal was quick and the crew doing the work did an excellent job! Thanks so much!

Asked for them to come cut a tree down almost 2 weeks ago. Well they showed up this morning at 6am without telling me and decided to cut the tree down. It is right next to my babies bedroom and we were in there sleeping. No one knocked or said anything, they just started choping the tree down. When I called Scott he was rude and stated if I wanted it done it was going to be now or they would get to it when they get to it. I stated I would not be taking any fines or heat because they were making noise before 8 am. I have never been treated so rudely by a business in my life. $480 seems like an awfully high price for such poor treatment by a company. I am very disappointed in this local business and their lack of consideration for me or my community.

Shearer is extremely generous, having donated a truckload of mulch to our nonprofit$0027s community garden project. We are so appreciative of their kindness and can not thank them enough!

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service
- Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
- Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
- Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
- Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
- Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
