Cute little nature center that's perfect for grandparents exploring with grand kids. (More at the little kid level than teenager) staff was friendly though and the interpreter threw in some higher level stuff during her presentation. We enjoyed our visit and spent several hours here, but most visitors seemed to breeze through in very little time.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and just visited with my own kids again. They have let the place fall a little bit in terms of quality of structure but it is still by far the best thing to do around LBL. Free for kids which is always a plus. Gift store is reasonably priced and they have a few animals to look at. Good thing to kill about an hour, and they do have activities throughout the day for the kids.

If you$0027re in Land Between the Lakes, it$0027s a great place to visit. Plenty trails around the nature station. The nature station itself is on the small side, but you can get much closer to the animals (wolves, coyote, rattlesnakes, owls, eagles, hawks...). Their presentation was great too. The staff were able to get the coyote and wolves to howl in unison.
