Heartwood Landscaping & Tree Services Reviews
Desiree Wetzel
We had 35 trees removed and Heartwood did a great job for us. We did have to wait a bit and although we were not guaranteed a time frame, I do subscribe to "promise small, deliver big". It was worth the wait. Price was fair for the extent of the work. But most importantly to us, the amount of equipment and attention to safety is the biggest reason for this rating and why we've gone with Heartwood twice. They knock out a big job, safely, in a heartbeat!

I had Heartwood come out to remove a tree and do what they called end weight reduction on some of my white pines. At first I thought they were just trying to up sell me but after the recent ice storm I realized that the trees that they did the end weight reduction on had no storm damage.

Received a quote and was told the work would be done. After multiple attempts to confirm when they were going to actually come out and do the work, they never called me back to confirm a time. At a loss.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service
- Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
- Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
- Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
- Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
- Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
