200 year old red oak needed to come down. We had an excellent experience with Tettegouche Treecare! Professional, knowledgeable, hard working, kind, and respectful. Would hire them again!!
Emily Otto (5)
Recently purchased a new property and had Tettegouche remove a few trees that were growing over our house. We used them because they were highly recommended from our neighbors. We were very impressed with the high knowledge through getting a quote and highly skilled team safely removing trees so close to our house. Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone looking for a tree service!

Jacob and his team at Tettegouche Treecare are great. They did an excellent job removing invasive species from our property and making plans for future maintenance to ensure we prevent return. They also worked on pruning and root flare excavation of existing trees to ensure they remain healthy.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
