Thomson Tree Service & Excavation Reviews

Kath Blake (5)
We just had our entire street cut back prior to snow fall in Moultonborough. Thomson Tree Service was prompt with their quote (same day), on schedule for service, did an excellent job, wonderful clean-up, insured, and fair price. I don't recommend just anyone, you have to earn my business and recommendation. They deserved the 5 Stars!
Scott Trombley (5)
We have been clearing our lot of smaller trees getting ready to build. Then the big ones were left. Thompson tree service came to the rescue and I can not say enough good. Very professional and in an area surrounded by other homes and obstacles they took care of it without a hitch. On a personal note they took the care enough to take care of a memorial for a family pet of our families. The thought and respect meant a lot. I would use them again without hesitation and recommend to anyone who needs something done right. Again thank you Stacy and crew. Start to finish you are true professionals

Within a few days of calling, Stacy came when he said he would to assess 5 trees we wanted taken down and give us a quote.  We were so impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and experience, we gave him the job without obtaining another quote.  Our job was scheduled in a reasonable time frame and the majority of the trees were taken down on the first day.  The second day they arrived early and started the cleanup but we were told they had to leave fairly quickly for some emergency jobs due to a tornado that touched down in the area they came from and did not know when they would be back, mostly likely the following week.  They stayed long enough to take the remainder of the trees down and moved everything into one big pile. We paid the bill in full that day and trusted that they’d be back. 3 days later, they came back for the final clean up. They had to work from our next door neighbor’s yard due to the hilly terrain of our lot and they took great care to avoid any potential damage to the neighbor’s property and ensured that their lot was cleaned up and the wood left behind was solely on our property.  We are extremely happy with the outcome of the project and would definitely call on Thomson Tree Service again if future needs arise. Thank you Stacy and crew for a job well done!

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
