Badger Tree Service

Highly recommend Badger for all tree services, including maintaining tree health. We have been using Badger for several years and have never been disappointed. One of the biggest advantages to Badger Tree Service is that Geoff is a certified arborist registered on the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA. It was important for us to find an actual arborist after several trees were damaged during Hurricane Florence from the salt water flooding and the high winds. Geoff identified which trees could be saved and how to do it. The trees he recommended saving are healthy today. For some of the trees he identified as terminal, we went against his advice to remove them and they later died. It is also important to us that a tree service is licensed and insured in case something goes wrong. We have used Badger for pruning branches away from our home, pruning branches on our tree that were nearing the neighbor’s home, tree removal, root ball removal, stump grinding, and pruning Crape Myrtles. Most recently, Badger had to remove a large Red Oak that was near a septic line, our fence, and branched out over a neighbor’s fence. Although we had to remove two portions of our fence, they were able to remove the tree and root ball in a confined space without any damage. Badger pays attention to detail while performing their work and in the cleanup. Whenever they remove or grind a stump, they fill the hole and then compact it to ground level. They grind up the cuttings as they work and sweep up when they are done. They have been worth the cost and we will continue to use them in the future.
