The Davey Tree Expert Company

We have a very large silver maple shading our home from the afternoon sun. On July 11, a clear windless day, we had a very large lead break( approximately 18-inch diameter) and fall on our house and deck. We called Davey and Joe Shaw (estimator for our area) came out that afternoon . At the time, the lead was still attached to the tree and Joe thought that not only was it a safety hazard but also could possibly cause additional damage to the house and deck. Joe used his skills to rope the limb and tied it off to prevent it from falling - a good thing, because it did break-off later that evening and was only supported by Joe’s rope. The lead was blocking access to the deck and backyard from the house preventing us from letting our 3 dogs out to the back yard. Joe pulled together a crew (Joe and his brother) and returned the next morning to remove the lead and all debris. Joe and Davey Tree definitely went above and beyond “the call of duty” to help us out of the jam we were in. I would recommend Davey Tree to anyone needing tree care and landscaping maintenance/services. We’ve personally used Davey ‘s services for several years and have always been 100% satisfied. Thanks again to Davey Tree, Joe Shaw and his brother for their efforts to get us out of the jam we were in.

We can’t say enough about the careful and efficient job the crew of 3 did to remove our tree (that was unfortunately struck by lightning) and how quickly they got it done. Our neighbor next door watched the whole process, too, and had the same comments. In fact, he couldn’t believe how much better Davey did than a different company he hired to remove his front yard tree last year. Everyone in the neighborhood had comments about the lightning and our beautiful Linden. We told them all about the great job Davey Tree, Josh, Richard and crew did for us!

Davey Tree Company did a wonderful job at two separate properties for us. Everything was done on time and they left everything cleaned up when they left.
