Ed Jenson's Tree Service Reviews

Mokihana (5)
We had a huge, very tall, 4-trunk Big Leaf Maple Tree right in the middle of our blacktop driveway that had been allowed to grow there before we bought our house. I got 4 different estimates and once Ed came out, we didn't look back. He spent a lot of time looking at the tree and figuring out what would be the best way to cut it down without damaging our fence or our blacktop. His estimate was extremely fair, and we were impressed with his thoughtful and professional analysis of how to fall 60' tall tree. If he hadn't done that, the tree could've fallen across our fence or onto the garage.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
