Bear River Guard Station / Ranger Station Reviews

Darrin Taylor (5)
Late May, used the parking lot at as base to run to Lily Lake. It's a great trail climbing through Aspen groves and thick forest, almost exactly a 5K round-trip. Peak elevation almost 9000' and if you want a longer run just repeat as many times as you like. I did a total of three, taking off layers and refueling at the end of each, for a total of 9.6 miles and 2000 ft elevation gain.

Nice spot. Camping or just parking for a day trip.

I came in to get the day pass. After talking to the very nice ranger, I learned I didn't need the pass for what I was doing. That was really nice. We talked a little more about passes where she was able to give me more information as well.

Recommendations before choosing a Tree Removal Service

  1. Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews: Look for tree removal companies with positive reviews and a solid reputation. Reading real customer experiences will help you understand the quality of their work, professionalism, and reliability.
  2. Confirm what is included in the tree removal service: Make sure you clearly understand what is included in the price, such as stump removal, debris cleanup, limb chipping, and any additional fees for large or hazardous trees.
  3. Ask about safety measures and equipment: Find out what safety protocols and equipment are used, including protective gear, rigging systems, and whether crew members are trained in industry-standard safety practices.
  4. Verify licensing, insurance, and coverage options: Ensure the company is properly licensed to operate in your state and carries both liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect you in case of property damage or on-site injuries.
  5. Request a written quote and service agreement: Always ask for a written quote and review the service agreement carefully so you are clear about pricing, the scope of work, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.
