Daniel did a careful and professional job at an excellent price. He was exceptional at making sure everything was done exactly as I wanted. He was very clear about what incidental damage that might occur (lawn damage) which he would not be correcting, and none actually occurred. Clean-up after the job was complete.

Great team and they communicated well and worked good together! If they missed your call they’d reach back with you either the same day or the next day! I’m happy with what they did to our tree! Reasonably priced too! Our tree in my opinion was large and other companies quoted us more so we went with them! Our tree was dying since the derecho and we just moved in a year ago and had to remove it because of safety issues and protecting our garage! If you are looking for shrub, tree or root removal, I highly recommend Merlin of KingsGard Tree Service of Cedar Rapids. I called many places for a free estimate. Merlin impressed us by his prompt and confident response. He showed up right away and answered our questions and gave us speedy service working by himself. He guided me with all the questions and concerns I had and went the extra mile doing extra things like trimming the dead branches off our tree, when he was originally there to take out a bunch of damaged/dying shrubs. He went to great lengths to leave our yard looking good. He even cleaned up the street in front of our house which had some debris from hauling away a big flatbed of shrubs for us. He paid great attention to detail in his work, offering suggestions of what we could do for future landscaping where the shrubs were. I really felt like he had our best interest in mind the entire time. I felt like we received our money's worth too. I highly recommend calling Merlin with KingsGard Tree Service.
