We can not thank Arbor Way enough for the professional, efficient, thorough, and courteous manner in which they helped us after nearly all of our well-established trees were destroyed on our property by the May 21, 2024, tornado. They had a very, very large job to do trimming and removing so much tree destruction. Job well-done!

Sumner Tree Service has been in the business over 15 years in the Grinnell area. They are local, they are professional and they execute their job with care.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Adam and his crew were incredible to work with. There is an advantage of having the boss be part of the crew. When we decided to have them do more work, it was a simple conversation, quote, and they got it done. They were hard workers, on time, and knowledgeable. Our site was left neater than when they began. They went above and beyond what we asked. We will definitely be contacting them again for any future work we may need. We could highly recommend them.

Rod, Billy and their crew were fantastic. The guys were doing a job at a neighbor’s place the other day when I got home. I walked across the street and asked for a quick ballpark estimate for the removal of a small/medium tree and stump in our front yard that was getting out of control and blocking the driveway and address. Just a PITA of constant maintenance. Other quotes I had gotten seemed very unreasonable so I hadn’t gotten it done. Rod walked over, quoted an extremely fair price, then came over and completed the job after they finished across the street. So, I had him look in the back at a much bigger job of taking back a lot of a tree line and raising the canopy that was actually damaging our new roof as well as removing a huge completely dead tree that was laying on another. Once again, the quote was very good, and within a week Rod, Billy and the team were back out and at it again. Despite the job being much more difficult than anticipated and a road bump or two, they got the job done on schedule and at the quote price. Quality and integrity are at the core of these guys.
