Customer Reviews for Tucumcari / Route 66 KOA Journey

Jo Anne McClelland ★★★★★

Nice roomy sites. Easy off and on for I 40. Nice little souvenir shop. Breakfast delivered to our site. There is a problem with the cooling of the shower/restrooms building in the back. We were here on July 18 and still not fixed. Laundry room is the cleanest of any KOA I've been to.

Really enjoyed this camp. Great staff and lots of fun things for kids to do. I’ll keep this one on my list for future use. My only suggestion is keep the grass taller to retain more moisture. You’ll have better grass in the long run. That’s not a complaint. Just a suggestion from one that knows grass.

Mark Neubauer ★★★★★

This was one of the cleanest KOA I’ve stayed at around the country! The spaces are large enough to provide even more privacy.

These guys came out to rescue my cat from a 3rd night about 35 feet up in a tree. They came after hours, quickly climbed up to get him and charged a nominal fee even though we live quite a ways out of town in the woods. We had called every other tree service in town with zero response back and even had a volunteer firefighter out to assess and let us know they couldn't help because of the location of the tree, it's very possible that our big dumb cat is on his 9th life. Thanks Steven and Scott for the great service! We'll definitely use them again but hopefully for actual tree work 😅

Mike transformed our front yard where we could not get anything to grow except goats heads and various weeds into a beautiful xeriscaped yard. He did it all by himself!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Very pleasant, hard working, honest and knowledgeable about landscaping issues👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We are extremely pleased with the new look, thanks so much Mike !!

I was very impressed with the service provided. He promptly returned call back, and came over the same day. He is very knowledgeable about shrubs and trees and how to keep them healthy. He worked very hard to make them look great down to the last detail. It was no easy task, as they had grown out of control for years. He knows all about landscaping and curbside appeal. The end result was fabulous. I was so pleased with the way it looks and the neighbor liked it so much that he wanted to set up an appointment for service as well. Someone else commented. "Wow that guy really knows what he is doing". Trevino Tree Trimming, quality reliable service you can count on.
