Customer Reviews for Wickes/arborists, a Davey company

Gina Zwart ★★★★★

We've had a large oak removed by them, great job. Had a pine planted by them also, and that has been a nightmare. The first one died less them a year old and was replaced on September 22, 2023. This tree is the replacement tree. Our first contact with them about this tree was May 8, 2024. Asked if I fertilize my lawn etc. No we do not. Wanted us to pay for the replacement tree. Then they said some Saturday they will replace and after that no more. We are still waiting. No communication either since then. We don't plan on using them again.

Wicke's Arborists/A Davey Company did a great job on our property: pruning mature conifers branching over the house, and taking down a big dead tree near utility wires - all while working on uneven lot/steep slope. Work was fast and efficient, and met all the conditions of our quote. Mike and Connor did a beautiful job. Thank you!

I recently hired Martinez Tree Service to open up my backyard by clearing several trees, pruning overgrown trees, and removing some that endangered my home. I couldn't be happier with their service. Since it was a large job, we communicated daily. They responded to my texts and calls immediately.

We had 2 trees to be removed to complete a patio project. Michael came to provide an estimate. During his visit, Michael identified some other trees that attract lantern bugs and recommended we remove the trees. He provided an estimate to remove all the trees and let us decide without any pressure. Once we decide to remove the trees, he made quick arrangement and had the job done within 3 days. He is very professional and responsive. We are glad to have Michael work on the tree removal.

Cut down a dead tree and cut back branches from trees around the house that were stretching over the roof. Brian supervised the crew and made sure the work is executed as discussed per the project proposal. The crew was efficient and cleaned everything up. Quick estimate, great service at a competitive price!
