Customer Reviews for James River Stump Grinding Inc

C J ★★★★★

He and his Crew came out and did an excellent job removing numerous pine trees from my front yard. They did an awesome clean up job. I have more trees to be removed and I will definitely give James and his Crew another call.

Suffice it to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I made a call to James River Stump Grinding to arrange to have one of our stumps taken care of. After having other companies refuse to call me back, my phone call was answered immediately and the stump was taken care of later that afternoon. Lee was very friendly on the phone and eager to get the job done. Impressive service and the job was well done and no mess left behind. I strongly recommend this company.

Jennifer Claflin ★★★★★

Since I can't post but once I keep adding to this post but another five star outstanding job from Robbin's landscaping. I had this area in my backyard that was horrible with weeds and dirt. He drew out a plan for a patio that would extend out to my garage. They did such a great job removing an old fence and Shrubbery that had been there for 40 plus years. I am well pleased with the job and it's so much more pleasant to sit outside now and in a nice shady spot. Including pictures of the before and after.

This is a top notch professional outfit. The initial visit, scheduling, communication and execution is sublime! The equipment RW uses is also top of the line. It took his team less than 5 minutes to refuse to dust three 14” to 18” stumps. The crew was also polite and respectful and professional.

This group is great to work with! I called for an estimate and they came in under my other estimates. They were able to get the job completed in a reasonable time frame. They were very professional, fast and efficient, and they also cleaned up the area they worked including the roadway. It was hard to even tell they cut a tree down after they left. Very happy and will be using them again when the time comes for another tree removal!
