I was amazed by their precision, and how fast they started dropping the trees around our property, ensuring the estimate for the work to be done would be completed in the time frame quoted. They were careful of certain areas, like our septic and leech field. We had to leave on a trip the last day they were there, and once we returned home we were so shocked how clean our property looked from the organized chaos we left it in. There was not one large limb, or excess pine needles left behind that we could tell. Great value, professionalism, and service. Customer beware: So I had these guys do a ton of work at my house at the end of last year. At the time I was really impressed with their work. My property looked great and the price was reasonable. They cut down a tree for me and I had no problem paying ahead to have the stump grinded down. Sean, who I had been in contact with through the whole process said they needed to get PG&E to mark the area then they could do it. Over a month later it still hadn't been done. I contacted Sean and he said the ground was too wet and he needed to wait. Ok, no problem. I text him today, 3 months afterwards and it's still not done. I got a text in response saying that it was Sean's wife responding to me and that Sean had died. Sean Potvin, one of the guys running a crew and who I had been in contact with through the whole process is indeed alive. I do not understand why I would receive a text saying he was dead, even with a specific date he had died. I have since been threatened with a lawsuit if my review is not taken down. I have told them multiple times to call me and have even called them again leaving multiples numbers where I could be reached. To this point they have still not called me to make this situation right.

After trying to remove a stump myself using a rented tool from the local Home Depot that was not successful; I contacted Chava Tree Services in need of a stump removal that was causing damage to my fence and beginning to affect my neighbors’ fence. I spoke to Salvador and emphasized the severity of the situation as I needed the work to be done quickly because the house was scheduled to be put on the market in just two weeks time. Salvador quickly came over to assess the job and was able to quote me and schedule me quickly, allowing me to get the stump removed and fence rebuilt in time for the house to go on the market. The cost of his service was less than what I would have spent on the tool rental at Home Depot and he did a better job than I could have ever dreamed of. He saved the fence and was careful not to cause damage to the house while removing the entire stump so there would be no concern that the tree would regrow. I will be using Chava Tree Services for future tree removal and will recommend him to friends and family with the upmost confidence that he will be nothing but professional with his clients.

Brad and his crew came out to my home a couple years ago and cleaned up my palm trees. These guys were so professional, thorough and worked as a great team. They even brought their own chopping machine and dispose of everything right on the spot! I highly recommend them. Now contacting them again for another clean up of my palm trees.
