I had several sizable trees that needed cutting down in my front and backyard. I was able to get a quick and honest estimate that was appropriate for the scope of work. Barely a week later I was notified the crew would be at my house to begin work. The crew who cuts and grinds stumps is separate from the crew/company that excavates stumps. I’m currently waiting on the stump excavation. The tree cutting team was very professional. They wore their safety gear and worked in a deliberate and careful manner. The cleanup was rapid and thorough. At no point did debris end up on my neighbor’s properties. Big Dog’s equipment was perfectly suited to the job which facilitated such a quick completion. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are quick friendly and very clean! Still amazed at how fast they are! The tree was a really messy tree- they cleaned the street, yard and neighbors area. If you need work done call them.

Nicholas and his team showed up on time (actually an hour early) and didn't leave until the job was done (it was dark when they finished). They were professional, did awesome work, cleaned up and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for this service.

I wish I could rate this service higher, but I can't. I had trees serviced in my yard for two years, paid over two grand and wound up removing two trees for failure to thrive. I accepted the advice of the "tree expert," but the recommendation failed in a big and expensive way. Cannot recommend.

We shopped around several tree removal services to clear our backyard. The first company we called said they couldn't/wouldn't do it without a crane and only two businesses in town owned their own large equipment. Ebens Gray and Big Stump quoted us in the 12-13k range for 5 large trees. Then we called Stallion, who didn't have a crane but said they'd do the same job without needing one, plus removal of 4 additional small trees, and quoted 1500 less than the standing best offer. They were also available to start the next day.
