Top-Rated Tree Removal & Trimming Services in James City, VA

Had Walt take down several medium size trees as well as stumps around our property in Yorktown. Had a very reasonable estimate done the day after contacting and work began on the dot the following day. Easy communication the entire time and he sent me pictures of the work once complete. Tricky spot between two houses and over a fence and driveway but the crew brought all equipment to fly through the job. Crew had PPE on the entire time, a good sign that they’ve got respect for the process and property. Will definitely be calling Walt’s Tree Removal in the future.

Darrin Tree Service was recommended to me from a post in a FB group. He took down a magnolia tree, and prunes and shaped my 100 year old silver maple tree. He was very knowledgeable about the maple tree and what it needs to stay healthy. Very quick removal of the magnolia. Price was very reasonable. Darrin was professional and had a great eye for detail. My Maple looks amazing. Highly recommend Darrin Tree Service. You will not be disappointed!

Exceptional company! I can't say enough about Chris (owner), Jose, Graham, and the entire Paramount crew. Chris took his time to explain options and answer our questions. Chris and his crew are professional in every way including the machinery used, PPE, safety briefing, uniforms, etc. They communicated well with us and each other. They actually seemed to enjoy the work. Refreshing to experience and a pleasure to watch.

Colonial Tree Service took 2 trees down in our backyard. It was a 2 day project and they took great care of our property. The owner, Chris Rennie and his crew are very professional and once the job was done our yard was left in better shape than before!

I was so relieved to meet this company. We had a large tree down and they were out in just a couple days and made quick work of it! Fair prices and quick clean up. Jack, the owner, was easy to talk to and made the timeline and pricing easy to understand. Talk about best case, in what could have been a miserable situation. Also, my yard looked great! They took their time and didn’t drag large equipment through my yard for a small job, loved this! recommend them to anyone.

Very professional ,responsive and Knowledgeable about the kinds of trees we had on our property and the things we could expect from their growth and decay down the line. Gave us plenty of options. They removed two damaged trees during very icey and muddy conditions. I would definitely recommend giving them a call.
