Top-Rated Tree Removal & Trimming Services in Charlottesville City, VA

So much gratitude for Kris and his team at Cox's Tree Service. They removed an enormous dead Honey Locust tree from our yard (RIP Helga) in one day, after 3 other local tree companies quoted us a much higher price or just straight up said they couldn't do it. The tree was a) YUGE, and b) in a very hard-to-reach part of our backyard, which complicated the work indefinitely.

My backyard privacy trees were over grown. I contacted Vasquez Lawn & Tree Service to trim the tree, add mulch and add a natural border. The work was complete within a week. They were prompt, courteous and charged me an affordable rate which is difficult to find in Charlottesville, VA.

I was referred by a key source to Big O for a major limb removal over my house, a cedar take-down and some additional pruning. Prior to this the owner was very prompt, thorough, patient and flexible in working up phases of estimates based on my changing needs. He is always readily reached for discussion. The rates are competitive, the work superior, and the crew very professional and courteous. I will refer Big O to my neighborhood association and be using them again.

Nigel and his crew expertly trimmed and cabled a tree located right next to our house. Communication was superb about what the job entailed and when it would be performed. We plan to use Nigel Wood's tree service for any future tree needs.

We’ve used Albemarle Tree Care twice now and will continue to call on Ross for all of our tree care. The first time, he took down several trees, including one that 2 other tree companies said they could not remove due to its size and location. The second time he removed a large decaying pine. Each time, he was professional, thorough, and cleaned up the areas before leaving. At my request, he evaluates the health of my trees and recommends trimming or removing as needed.

JOB: Removal of a very large, tall white oak tree close to the house.

Alex communicated very quickly and reliably. He came by and provided a written, itemized quote the next day and stood by it. He and his team removed a large tree and several smaller trees at a very reasonable price and within a very quick time-table (same week!). The team worked very hard and got the job done very quickly and efficiently. They really care about tress and what's best for the property. I couldn't be happier with their service and will be quick to recommend and hire again if needed. Thanks, Alex!
